The Turqs were born when one of our founders made a sample in this vibrant pastel hue and received so many compliments and requests for the color in production that we had no choice but to add them to our line. This instance demonstrated to us that guys would not only admire and tolerate bright colored pants, but actually demand and wear them.
So we made a bunch of ‘em. Over the last year we observed another phenomenon; once guys put them on, they get swept up in the excitement of wearing awesome colorful pants. The Turqs served as a powerful catalyst in a movement that we have made our own, a movement to give guys the confidence to wear whatever they want, to look awesome, to eschew convention, and not worry at all about what a less enlightened observer is going to think. Call it Bonobos first amendment – the right to wear anything.
Then we ran out of the Turqs in every size. So we made more. In our flagship lightweight stretch corduroy fabric.
