Every once in awhile a company comes along and reinvents a product that has been mired in tradition and perhaps ossified a bit. Rollerblade crushed the roller skate market. Minivans nearly exterminated our (preferred) old friend the club van (think Mystery Machine, and 7 MPG). Back when we were young kids, squirt guns were awful. Then some genius came up with the super soaker, a massive improvement on forced water stream weaponry. Twenty pumps, a lot of adrenaline, and a laser like gushing stream of aqua offense.

This summer we're doing the same thing for seersucker. Tired of frumpy cuts, banker/diaper butt, and tapered legs, we are bringing our better fit to this languishing category. First, we found a better fabric - it's even lighter than your standard seersucker, cooler in the heat, and it comes in a fresh navy and white with red pin stripe. We add our trademark better fitting better looking pattern and a pink zipper and cross stitch as a nod to its pastel ancestors. That's about the only thing you'll recognize from the old days.
